While representing Rahab Robi Foundation, Hon. Rahab had the honor of joining First Lady Mama Agnes Ochilo at Moi Nyabohanse Girls during the Kambi ya Wasichana Initiative to end FGM in Migori county. This initiative was organized by the Mama Agnes Ochilo Foundation, and it aimed to empower and mentor young girls to become Anti-FGM Ambassadors. During the event, over 200 girls graduated as Anti-FGM Ambassadors after being mentored and empowered. This is a significant milestone in the fight against FGM, as these young girls are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to advocate against this harmful practice in their communities. The Rahab Robi Foundation is proud to have been a part of this important initiative. We believe that empowering young girls is crucial in ending FGM and creating a better future for them. By joining forces with the Mama Agnes Ochilo Foundation and other like-minded organizations, we are making strides towards eradicating FGM in Migori county and beyond. We are committed to continuing our support for initiatives like Kambi ya Wasichana and working towards a world where all girls are free from the harmful effects of FGM. Together, we can create a safer and brighter future for the next generation. Thank you to First Lady Mama Agnes Ochilo and all those involved in making this initiative a success.
